These are my opinions and mine alone. I don't blog on behalf of my employer (Edelman) though, like anyone else, my work life will inspire much of what gets published here.
If you think that my viewpoints on this blog are delivered as opinions that can be reasonably tied to my employer, you are probably more than a little dumb. More than likely, you're just trying to troll and cause trouble: "Look what an Edelman SVP said!" and similar B.S.
When there is a client relationship involved, and that relationship is known to me at the time of writing, I will most certainly disclose same. If I wasn't aware of that relationship at the time of writing, I will edit the post to make the disclosure and indicate that the additions were made. Similarly, if I'm writing about a significant competitor to a client, I will disclose the client relationship in that instance as well.
I will never accept a billing to write about a client. Ever. I will also politely refuse any request from someone at Edelman to write about a client unless it's clear that the client is within my perso-professional interests and that my audience will not consider such a post out-of-character.
